Send password reset email

When creating new users in the portal, a temporary password is sent to their email address. It is used to log in to the portal and change the temporary password.

If they do not receive the email with the temporary password, you can resend it to them via the portal.

Prerequisites

To send the password reset email

  1. From the portal, hover over Settings > Property, and click Users. The Property Users page displays.
  2. Click the edit icon behind the appropriate user (). The User page displays.
  3. Click Password.
  4. Click the Send Reset Email button. A message displays informing you that a password reset email has been sent to the known email address.
