Create new agent department

You can add multiple agency departments in the agent profile. Adding departments of a specific agency can give you a better view of the agent's organizational structure.

To create a department in a agent profile

  1. From the home page, do one of the following to open the seek page:
    • Press CTRL+T on your keyboard.

    • Click Relation in the top bar, select Agent and then Agent.

  2. Modify the fields as appropriate.

    Agent seek details

    Trav name

    Enter the agent's name.

    Street

    Enter the address of the agent.

    Zip code

    Enter the postal code of the agent.

    City

    Enter the city of the agent.

    Country

    Enter the country of the agent.

    Bank account

    Enter the bank account name.

    A/R number

    Enter the accounts receivable number of the agent.

    A/P number

    Enter the accounts payable number of the agent.

    IATA code

    Enter the IATA code.

    Trav number

    Enter the agent profile number.

    VAT number

    Enter the VAT number of the agent.

  3. Click Confirm (). The Browse agent page displays.

  4. Do one of the following to display the agent profile.
    • Select the appropriate agent and click Confirm ().

    • Double click the appropriate agent.

  5. Click the Department () icon. A PMS message displays if no agent department exists, asking to add a new agent department.

    When the agent already has multiple departments linked, the Browse department page displays after clicking the Department () icon. Click the Create new icon () to add another agent department to the agency.

  6. Click Yes, the new agent department page displays.

  7. Modify the fields as appropriate. An asterisk (*) indicates a mandatory field.

    Department details

    * Name

    Enter the name of the department.

    Mail address

    Enter the mail address of the department.

    Zip/City

    Enter the postal code in the first field and the department's city in the second field.

    Country

    Select the country from the drop-down list.

    Visit address

    Enter the visit address of the department.

    Zip/City

    Enter the postal code in the first field and the department's city in the second field.

    Country

    Select the country from the drop-down list.

    Phone

    Enter the phone number.

    Fax

    Optionally, enter the fax number.

    Email

    Enter the email of the department.

  8. Do one of the following: 

    • Click Save () to save your agent department profile.

    • Click Cancel () to discard your changes.
