The batch assign rooms tool is used to assign room numbers in advance to all unassigned reservations. The batch assign rooms tool is designed to optimize room assignments in the room rack and fill the stay gaps intelligently so the property can maintain and optimize their selling strategies.
Prerequisites
Define the maximum assign days in advance to be used as the default value.
This can be set up in Settings > Options > Front desk > Assign days in advance.
The maximum amount of days in advance to batch assign rooms is 60.
To batch assign rooms
- From the home page, select Extra menu > Tools > Batch assign rooms. The Batch assign page displays.

Enter the amount of days in advance you want to assign room numbers to the unassigned reservations.
Most properties work 7 days in advance.
- Do one of the following:
Click Confirm (
) to complete your search.Click Cancel (
) to discard your search.
- If confirmed, the Assign rooms for expected arrivals page displays based on the number of days entered.

To select all reservations on that page, press CTRL+A on your keyboard.
- Do one of the following:
Click Confirm (
) to process the selection.Click Close (
) to discard your search.
- When confirmed, the reservations are processed and room numbers assigned.
