Set the location user experience
The User Experience page is where you determine which MeetingBroker functionality is visible for this location's users, linking options, and a proposal option.
Home Module Visibility
Select the MeetingBroker pages that you want to display to the users at this location. This does not apply to SUE or Email Only locations.
For example, if all of the users at this location are senders, they will only work in the Meetings folder. You can streamline the appearance of the application for those users by hiding the RFPs folder. Select the check boxes for the modules that apply to all users at the location, or clear the check boxes to hide them.
Enable Link Capabilities
This section only applies to locations that are integrated with Delphi 9.2 - 9.6, or Delphi+.
If the location is integrated with Amadeus Sales & Catering, these fields are not accessible. See Amadeus Sales & Catering Training and Help for instructions on managing link settings.
Enable Link
Select to allow users to link a MeetingBroker RFP to an existing booking in Delphi. When enabled, an additional “Link” button will be added to the MeetingBroker RFP page's toolbar.
Enable Multi-Link
Select to allow users to associate more than one RFP with a booking in Delphi. For example, if a property receives an RFP for the same piece of business from Cvent and a National Sales Manager, and each lead source should receive credit for the booking, linking both RFPs to the booking in Delphi will send business data updates back to each channel.
Enable Link must be selected first, which will then give you access to select Enable Multi-Link.
Enable Unlink
Select to allow users to unlink an RFP from a Delphi booking. If enabled, the “Link” button in the RFP page's toolbar will display as “Unlink” when the RFP is linked to a booking.
Enable Link Option When Viewing RFP
Select Enable to allow users that open an RFP in MeetingBroker that is not linked to a booking to view a list of all Delphi bookings with an arrival date four days before and after the start date of an RFP. You should select this option if you are using Multi-Link or if you are integrated with Delphi versions 9.2.1 – 9.5.1 so users can check for existing Delphi bookings and prevent creating duplicates.
Bypass Choice for Proposal Creation
When responding to an RFP with a proposal, some channels, such as Cvent, display the Choose Proposal window. This allows the user to choose whether to respond directly to the channel’s website, or to send an electronic proposal. Depending on your location’s settings, the electronic proposal is either a MeetingBroker proposal, or a Cendyn eProposal. The Bypass Choice for Proposal Creation switch allows you to remove the choice from the users.
- If you select Enable, the choice is removed and users will only be allowed to respond directly to the channel’s website.
Enable removes the ability for users to send an electronic proposal.
- If you select Disable, the choice remains. The Choose Proposal window will display when a user clicks the Proposal button.
