HotSOS Housekeeping
New Features
Deny list implemented. We continue to enhance REX security by helping you build strong passwords. Each time you create a new password it is evaluated by the deny list. No matches ensure a strong password. If the password you create matches one in the deny list, a message lets you know the password is too common. Try another password.
What is a password deny list?
A password deny list is a list of words disallowed as user passwords due to their commonplace use. Deny lists may also incorporate rules to prevent the use of common passwords with frequently-used modifications such as capital letters, standard substitutions or numbers following the words. Our deny list has millions of entries.

HotSOS Housekeeping
Housekeeping Configuration Change Log report updated. Any changes made to HotSOS Housekeeping configuration are now accurately reflected in the Housekeeping Configuration Change Log Report. The report displays old and modified values, the person making the changes, and a date/time stamp for each action taken.

New Features
REX rebranding. REX, the Amadeus housekeeping app used by properties around the world, is now rebranded as HotSOS Housekeeping. It's just had a change in name but still has the same great features you've come to rely on. HotSOS desktop users will see changes in user roles and reports. Login security increased. Security is always at the forefront for our customers, and in this release, we’ve taken steps to implement tighter security when logging in to HotSOS Housekeeping, REX, HotSOS Mobile, and HotSOS Thick Client as outlined here:

Increased lock-out time. We increased the lock-out time from fifteen to thirty minutes after five unsuccessful login attempts. Upon logging in a sixth time, the user receives a notification. Once the lock is set, it can be reset in Personnel by users with Unit Personnel Administrator, Unit Department Administrator, or Administrator (HotSOS Select) permissions.

Restrict the number of password changes. Users who change their password more than five times in a day (24-hour window) are blocked from logging in for 24 hours.

Password reuse policy established. A new password reuse policy has been put in place. Now, when prompted to change your HotSOS Mobile (Housekeeping Supervisors and Room Attendants), REX, or HotSOS Thick Client password, you cannot reuse the last 11 passwords.

HotSOS Housekeeping Mobile
New Features
Sort by Room Attendant Progress. Room Attendant Progress is a new filter added to Housekeeping Personnel. Supervisors can select Room Attendant Progress in the Sort By filter option, and all room attendants who are assigned rooms are displayed at the top of the list in either ascending or descending order by progress. At a glance, the supervisor knows who is on target and who might need some attention.

HotSOS Housekeeping
New Features
No Task reinvented. No Task has been a system-managed task since the early days of REX (HotSOS Housekeeping). We’ve redesigned it so HotSOS Housekeeping administrators and supervisors can manually assign No Task to rooms from the AM/PM consoles in either the HotSOS Housekeeping URL or HotSOS Mobile Housekeeping Supervisor. Assign rooms more efficiently using No Task. If the name No Task is not meaningful, you can easily customize it to make it more relevant to your team. What about reports? We've got you covered. No Task filters can be selected in several reports.
No Task is found in Room Assignments AM, Room Assignments PM, and Room Credits consoles. Housekeeping supervisors can manage No Task on rooms and set filters in the HotSOS Mobile application.
Fixes
CR768751: REX AM and PM consoles now display the name of the guest with the earliest arrival time for double-booked rooms.

HotSOS Housekeeping Mobile
New Features
Dropped Rooms tile added to HotSOS Housekeeping workspace. We've added a Dropped Rooms tile to the workspace making it easier for housekeeping supervisors to find and track dropped rooms. The tile displays the number of dropped rooms. A tap of the tile displays the list of dropped rooms and the reason.
HotSOS Mobile security enhanced. Like our customers, we take security seriously, so we've enhanced the HotSOS Mobile security by implementing a timeout after fifteen minutes of inactivity.

HotSOS Housekeeping
New Features
Room clean status retained when a third-party room interface is used. HotSOS Housekeeping retains the clean status set by the room attendant even after DND is set and removed by the guest using a third-party room integration system.
New system setting option for night audit. A new setting, Use PMS occupied room clean status during night audit, is now available in HotSOS Housekeeping System Settings. When selected, the PMS is recognized as the system of record overriding the HotSOS Housekeeping night audit preventing occupied guest rooms from being set to dirty, Awaiting Service, and retaining the clean status of occupied rooms as set in the PMS.
HotSOS Mobile
New Features
HotSOS Mobile connectivity error message added. Should a HotSOS Mobile user encounter areas of the property where the Wi-Fi signal is weak or if the HotSOS Mobile device loses connection, HotSOS Mobile prominently displays the following message at the top of the page: CONNECTION FAILED. Press OK to retry.
Capture error logs in HotSOS Mobile. HotSOS Mobile now records error logs that can be sent to Amadeus Support. The logs remain until the user signs out. This feature is available to all HotSOS Mobile users including HotSOS Housekeeping (REX) room attendants, and HotSOS Housekeeping supervisors. Click these links for more information on capturing logs to send to Amadeus Support.
HotSOS Mobile menu (hamburger) is hidden. The HotSOS Mobile menu in the lower right corner of the page allows users to set the HotSOS URL to be used. Once the device is registered, the hamburger menu is hidden. Delete the device from the device table in Configuration/Personnel/Devices and re-register it. The hamburger menu is once again available.
Dropped Rooms tile added to workspace. A new tile, Dropped Rooms, is now available in the HotSOS Mobile housekeeping supervisor workspace. The tile, like its counterparts, indicates the current number of dropped rooms.

HotSOS Housekeeping
New Features
A new system setting for HotSOS Housekeeping: Disable Clean Start Time. When selected, HotSOS Housekeeping no longer displays start time in the AM/PM consoles, history, and details tabs, HotSOS Housekeeping Supervisor, and Room Attendant applications. Reports typically displaying start times show blank fields. Start Time column headers are removed from the reports. Reports solely based on start time, such as Action Log Report or REX Attendant Yield Report now display the following notice: [Hotel] Does not have Clean Start Time enabled.

New Feature
Three new translation languages. Dari, Pashto, and Persian (Farsi) have been added for manual translation in rooms, issues, equipment, predefined memos, etc.

HotSOS Mobile
New Features
New HotSOS Mobile Filter Option. A new sort field, Location, is now available in HotSOS Mobile to filter the view in Service Orders. Sorting by location lets the respondent see any nearby pending orders, so work can be done efficiently.

CR684018: You can now successfully search for an Issue in a Service Order on iPod Touches.
