Edit Change Log entries
For example, your customer calls today and would like to change their dessert selection from chocolate fudge cake to apple pie. You update the menu and then create a Change Log entry. A few days later, your customer calls again and requests vanilla ice cream to be served with the apple pie. Rather than editing the first change entry, you should create a new one because the change log report was already distributed for the first entry.
To edit a Change Log entry
- In the Change Logs section of the Booking Event page click Edit next to the entry you want to update.
The Change Log Entry Edit page opens.
- Update as needed.
- If you want to hide this entry on the Change Log report, select the Do Not Print on Change Log Report check box. For example, if a customer calls at 9:00 AM to report the guarantee is 75 and then calls again at 1:30 PM to change the guarantee to 85, you can hide the initial entry on the report so your staff is not confused.
- Update the Change Description, as needed. You can use the buttons on the formatting toolbar to customize the appearance of the text.
The required fields are displayed with a red indicator. These fields must be completed before you can save the record.
- Click Save.
