Add Change Log entries

After the BEO has been distributed to your operations team, what happens if the customer requests last minute changes? The simplest way to handle this is to make the change on the event, and then make an entry in the Change Log. Each day you will distribute the Change Log report which summarizes all of the changes made to distributed BEOs during that day.

If multiple changes have been made to the BEO, you may want to revise the BEO and re-distribute alongside the Change Log Report.

To add a Change Log entry

  1. From the booking, make the required changes to the event.
  2. Click Save.
  3. Click the Change Log Entry button.
  4. The Change Log Entry window opens.

  5. Select the Change Type from the predefined list of values and then enter the Change Log Entry name as you want it to display in the Change Log report.
  6. Enter the details of the change in the Change Description field. For example, the start time for the event has changed from 8:00 AM to 8:15 AM. You can use the formatting toolbar to customize the appearance of the text as needed.
  7. If you want to record this entry but you don't want to include it in the Change Log report, select the Do Not Print on Change Log Report check box.
  8. Click Save and Close.

You can also create a Change Log entry for multiple events at the same time. For example, if three breakouts have added a projector, select the three breakout events before clicking the Change Log Entry button. The Change Log window will open and display the total number of events selected in the Title bar.
