Clone choice groups
When you have multiple choice groups with similar items, the easiest way to create the choice group is to clone an existing one. You can then add or remove items as needed.
You can only clone property choice groups.
To clone a choice group
- Navigate to Choice Groups, select the appropriate view, and then click the choice group name.
- Click the Clone Choice Group button at the top of the page.
The New Choice Group page opens.
- Modify the choice group details, as needed.
- Select whether or not you want to clone the items. This does not create another item in Setup, it just attaches that item to the new choice group.
- If you're replacing old menus, you can select the Deactivate check box to automatically change the choice group you're copying from active to inactive.
- Select which items you want to copy, and if necessary, adjust the Unit Price.
- Click Clone.
The cloned choice group opens and you can edit as needed.
