Overview: Combination function rooms

The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.

The information in this topic applies to version R40 and lower. If you use version R41 or higher, refer to Overview: Combination function rooms.

Two types of function rooms exist:

For example, the Ballroom is a combination of Salon A, Salon B, and Salon C. Each of the salons can be sold on its own, or they can be sold together in different combinations: Salon AB, Salon BC, or the Ballroom.

When a combination function room is blocked, all the indivisible rooms it includes are also blocked. The Function Diary displays the indivisible rooms in a lighter shade of the event status color to indicate that the rooms are also unavailable. In addition, when an indivisible room is blocked for an event, the entire combination room displays as unavailable during that time.

You can build a combination room with the Combination Rooms section of the Function Room page. All indivisible rooms need to be created before you add them to a combination room.

When you add an indivisible room to a combination room, a record is created in the Part of Combo room section of the Function Room page. You can use this section to see which combination rooms include that indivisible room.
