Copy room plans

When you're ready to design a room plan for an event, you have two choices: you can create a brand new room plan, or you can copy an existing room plan and link it to the event. Copying a room plan is a big time-saver since you can leverage the design work that has already been done rather than recreating the room plan from scratch.

To copy a room plan

  1. In the booking events grid on the Booking page or Manage Events page, select the check box next to the event that requires a room plan and click View Diagram. Alternatively, right-click the event and click View Diagram.
  2. In the Create Room Plan window, click Cancel.
  3. Using the breadcrumb links at the top of the page, navigate to the booking and event whose room plan you want to copy.
  4. Click the room plan to open it.
  5. Click Save As.
  6. Enter a name for the copied room plan.
  7. To link the copied room plan to the event from step 1, click the Change link and select the appropriate booking and event.
  8. Click Save.
