Enable external availability integration
Delphi can integrate with external availability sources. This integration can be used to manage room inventory and view real-time updates on availability and occupancy. When users check availability or create a room block, they receive live updates from the external source.
This feature is only available with version R52 or higher. To view the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
Corporate administrators
To enable the external availability integration
- Navigate to Amadeus Settings.
- Under Org-Wide Default Settings, select Enable Availability Integration.
- Click Save.
To add the fields to the Property record page

To add the Display External Availability Data, Compare External Availability, and External Availability Deduct Status fields to the Property record page follow the steps below.

Go to Setup, then click Create, then Objects, and then Booking.

Hover over the Page Layouts related list and click Edit next to Property Layout.

In the Property Layout toolbar, click Fields.

Drag the Display External Availability Data, Compare External Availability, and External Availability Deduct Status fields to the Guestroom Configuration section of the page.

Click Save and confirm your changes.

The Display External Availability Data, Compare External Availability, and External Availability Deduct Status fields are automatically included on the Salesforce Lightning default Property record page. If you have previously customized the Lightning Property record page, follow the steps below to add these objects to the Property page.

Click Setup (
), and then Setup.

In Quick Find, enter 'App Builder.'

Under User Interface, click Lightning App Builder.

Find the most recent LightningPropertyRecordPage record page and click Edit. The Property Record page displays.
If the option to edit is not available, this indicates that the Lightning Property page layout has not been customized, and the fields are already included in the page layout.

Open the Fields list on the left and use the Quick Find to locate Display External Availability Data.

Drag the field to the Guestroom Configuration section of the preview page.

Repeat the steps to add Compare External Availability and External Availability Deduct Status.

Click Save.
Property administrators
To enable the external availability integration for the property

Navigate to the Property page.

Under Guestroom Configuration, update the following:

Select Display External Availability Data.

Update Compare External Availability to indicate which room block numbers are used to check for inventory in the external source. The following options exist:

None - Users only see the external availability, but no comparison is made.

Agreed - Agreed numbers on the room block are used for availability check.

Blocked - Blocked numbers on the room block are used for availability check.

Update External Availability Deduct Status. After your External Availability integration is active, this field specifies at what status the room block numbers are removed from inventory, either Tentative or Definite.

Click Save.
To activate the channel and complete the configuration, contact Amadeus Support.
