Booking Day Snapshot purge

This feature is available with version R55 and higher, and it is not enabled by default. This feature requires an approval process to ensure that only authorized administrators can access it. Our team grants the designated corporate administrator the ability to enable and configure the purge settings by property and to set up the purge based on the booking departure date. Corporate administrators, see Enable property object retention for enablement instructions.

The Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge feature is designed to help reduce data storage costs by deleting BDS records that are no longer needed for property reporting purposes based on the configured settings.

Removing the Booking Day Snapshot records from the Salesforce org does not affect the Amadeus reporting database, ensuring that Delphi performance reports are not impacted. This feature helps manage storage costs while ensuring that necessary data is retained for reporting needs.

  1. Navigate to Amadeus Settings.

  2. In the System Setup and Configuration Settings, select Configure Property Object Retention.

Years to Retain (Booking Day Snapshot)

This is the number of years of BDS records to keep. By default, this field is set to five years. This value can be modified to meet the property's reporting needs.

The purge feature has a minimum retention range of three years, ensuring that at least three years of booking day snapshot records are preserved for reporting purposes.

    This field cannot be modified.

Purge Days (Booking Day Snapshot) The days in the Chosen list indicate which days of the week the purge can run. By default, all days of the week are selected.
