Remove revenue classifications from tax groups
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
The information in this topic applies to the tax function with version R20 and lower. To learn about the enhanced taxes feature available with version R21 and higher, refer to Overview: Enhanced taxes.
When you remove a revenue classification from a tax group, the related taxes no longer apply to the booking event. For example, you remove the Food revenue classification from the 9% Food and Beverage tax in your Standard Tax Group. In this case, all menus and items on a booking event assigned the Food revenue classification are not taxed the 9%.
If you assign the wrong revenue classification to a tax in a tax group, you first need to remove that revenue classification from the tax and then add the correct one. You cannot change the revenue classification by editing the tax details.
You need to be an administrator to modify taxes and tax groups.
