Quick room plans
Quick Room Plans provide you with all the tools you need to get straight to the point— a booking or event is not needed. This is where you can build a library of common room arrangements shared with all users at your property. Then, use a quick room plan as a template to start a new design for a customer. You'll skip the basic steps and get right to customizing the room for your client.
If you search old bookings repeatedly to find favorite diagrams, save them as quick room plans. That way, they're easy to find in your Quick Room Plans list ready to use anytime.
To access your quick room plans, click your name in the upper-right corner of the page, and then click Quick Room Plans.
- Click Quick Create.
- Provide the following information:
- Enter the plan name.
- (Optional) Enter the number of attendees.
- (Optional) Select the Room Setup.
- If you have access to more than one property, select the property for the room.
- Select a room.
- Do one of the following:
- Click Create Quick Room Plan and continue editing on the canvas.

Click Upload a MeetingMatrix 2010 File and then browse to the file location where your MeetingMatrix Setup files (.mms) are stored.
- Select the appropriate .mms file and click Open.
- Click Import.
Rather than starting from a blank canvas, use a template that has all the basic details arranged. Once you save a separate version of the template, just edit the details for that unique diagram, and you'll have the new work completed in a fraction of the time. For example, if you have a common wedding setup saved as a quick room plan, copy it to a booking and make changes for the new customer.

Open the quick room plan, and then click Save As .

Enter the Plan Name.

Do one of the following:

Click Select to search for and select the booking.

Click Create New, and then enter the details of the new booking and event in the pop up window.

Select the Event, or click Create New to make a new one. If there's only one event on the booking, it will automatically populate.

Click Save.
If you started with a quick room plan for a customer's function but now want to organize it under their booking, you can move it over.
To link to an existing booking and event:
- Do one of the following:
- From the event, click the Link Quick Room Plan to Event icon in the canvas toolbar, and then select the quick room plan.
- From the Quick Room Plans page, hover over the diagram, and click the Link Quick Room Plan to Event icon.
- Click Select to choose a Booking or click Create New to start a new one by entering the details right on the page.
- Select the Event or click Create New to make a new one. If there's only one event on the booking, it will automatically populate.
- Click Link.
