Traffic reports
These reports are only available for Website Edition.
The Reports tab helps you analyze traffic to your Delphi Diagramming website so you can determine how visitors are getting to your website and what they are doing once they are there. Using this information, you can evaluate the effectiveness of your traffic sources (referrals, direct traffic, search keywords, etc.), as well as the design and layout of your website. The following reports are available:
- Summary - The total number of loads and events during the selected time period. A load is each instance that a Delphi Diagramming app was opened by a website visitor. An event is any interaction a website visitor had within Delphi Diagramming, including hyperlink and button clicks and video plays.
- App Summary - The number of loads and events within each Delphi Diagramming app during the selected time period. This shows you which apps have generated the most activity.
- Traffic Sources - The percentage and number of visits by source type during the selected time period. Source type are the manner in which the visitor was referred to your website, such as a search engine, another website, or directly when the user typed your URL directly into their browser. This shows you how people are getting to your website so you can evaluate the effectiveness of those sources.
- Browsers - The percentage and number of visits by browser type during the selected time period. Knowing which browser most people are using to view your website can help you make informed decisions about its design and layout.
To view reports
- From the Content Management Home page, click Reports.
The Traffic page opens.
- Select the time period for traffic using the For period pull down menu (for example, Last 30 Days, This Year, Last Year, or Custom).
- Select how to Display information (for example, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly).
If you are defining a custom date range, be sure to click the Go button after you select the appropriate dates.
