View guest messages in a group

Guest messages are used to leave a message for the guest. Guest messages display at check-in and check-out in the reservation. If the guest messages option is used for a group reservation, it applies to all reservations in the group.

If the property has a Pay-Tv interface that supports this function, the guest can read the message left for them in their room on their TV.

To view guest messages in a group

  1. From the home page, do one of the following to open the Seek page:
    • Press SHIFT+CTRL+R on your keyboard.

    • Click Reservations in your top bar and select Group Reservations.

    To view the full list of all group reservations, leave all fields empty and click the confirm icon ().
    To check all group reservations between a certain arrival and departure date, complete the date range in the arrival and departure fields.

  2. Click Confirm (). The Browse group reservation page displays. 

  3. Do one of the following to display the appropriate group reservation: 
    • Select the reservation and click Confirm ()

    • Double-click the reservation.

  4. Click the Tools icon (), and then select Guest messages. The Guest message page displays.
  5. Double-click the message to view it.

    New messages have an N status. Printed message have a P status. Deleted messages have an X status.
    The message icon () is visible in the top bar of the reservation when guest messages are attached.
