Introduction to MeetingBroker Administration
Welcome, MeetingBroker administrators! As an administrator, you have access to the restricted area of MeetingBroker where the changes you make can affect functionality for all users, so it's important to have a clear understanding of how things work.
How much access do you have? It depends on if you are a subscription administrator or a location administrator.
- Subscription administrator - The highest possible access, typically a single or small group of corporate-level employees. Subscription administrators are responsible for configuring and maintaining MeetingBroker settings and standards for all locations, such as exchange rates and values like market segments. They have access to all user profiles, reports, and data for all locations in the subscription.
- Location administrator - Typically one or two users at each property will have this access. Location administrators are responsible for settings that are specific to their own property, such as managing users, entering location details, and configuring RFP assignment rules.
MeetingBroker is comprised of subscriptions and locations. A subscription is like a folder that contains a set of locations (properties or sales offices) as sub-folders. Subscriptions vary in size from a brand with thousands of properties, to an independent hotel or restaurant that is the only location in its own subscription. If you are in a subscription with only one location, you will probably perform the duties of both the subscription and location administrator.
To access the administration area of MeetingBroker, click the Administration link in the top-right corner of the Home page. You'll only see this link if you've been granted administrator rights. After you've entered the Administration area, your access level determines what will be displayed. Subscription administrators will see nine tabs—location administrators will see two or three:

If you believe you should have administrator rights, but you do not see the Administration link on the Home page, contact your subscription administrator. If you are not sure who your subscription administrator is, contact Support.
