Location administration tasks
As the location administrator, you have access to the restricted area of MeetingBroker where settings and users are managed for your property. For more information, see Introduction to MeetingBroker Administration.
The following provides a summary of the primary location administrator tasks:
- New location checklist - If you're just installing MeetingBroker or taking over administration for an existing location, you'll want to start here to make sure the basics are covered in the right order.
- Manage users - Create and manage the access that users have to your location.
- Enter general information - Specify the address and regional settings of your location, such as the default currency, time zone, and measurement preference.
- Manage details- Assign users to roles such as the Default Lead Coordinator (DLC), enter hours of operation and holidays if you're using escalation, and provide search criteria for other users looking to send leads to a place like yours.
- Work with assignment rules - Assignment rules determine who is designated as the owner of and who is copied on newly received RFPs.
- Create property response templates - If you use the MeetingBroker proposal instead of an integrated eProposal, you can provide Sales Managers with property standard text to include in their responses.
- Define and map location setup values - Define how key setup values flow between MeetingBroker, channels, and integrated sales and catering systems, such as Amadeus Sales & Catering, to provide a consistent user experience when RFPs are viewed.
- Enter attributes - If your subscription administrator has created custom attributes, for example, whether you allow pets or have a golf course, you need to keep these details up to date so your property is considered for appropriate leads when other locations or sales offices are searching.
- Create custom location user groups - If you are using assignment or escalation email messages, you can configure user groups to send the same message to multiple users at once.
- Manage linking - Determine whether users can link and unlink an RFP to a booking in an integrated sales and catering system.
