New location checklist
When a new location is added to your subscription, configuring the administrative settings properly is important before you activate channels and start passing leads through MeetingBroker. Complete the tasks listed below in the order presented.
When your subscription was created, your subscription administrator decided which features are needed and how to use them to best meet your organization’s business processes. That might not include everything listed here. Check with your subscription administrator or corporate representative to see if standards were documented for your company's use of MeetingBroker before changing any settings. Your Amadeus consultant or trainer can also help with identifying standards during your new installation training.
Location tasks - required
- Complete the General and Details tabs. Confirming the correct Default Currency is listed on the General tab is very important before activating channels.
- Create users.
- Assign users to location roles on the Details page, such as the Default Lead Coordinator.
- Map property-specific and channel setup values.
- Provide answers to custom attributes.
Location tasks - optional
- Create property-specific assignment rules.
- Set an escalation policy.
- Create property-specific response templates.
