Assign the Subscription Default Lead Coordinator
The Subscription Default Lead Coordinator (DLC) is the last stop for incoming RFPs. If a location's DLC doesn't receive a New RFP notification , the Subscription DLC will be notified. It is then their responsibility to work with the location to find the correct owner for the lead and help the location administrator update their settings.
Make sure you understand how assignment rules work before selecting the Subscription DLC.
An RFP is assigned to the Subscription DLC when the following conditions are met:
- The RFP doesn't match any of the assignment rules at the receiving location (or the assigned user has their Out of Office set in MeetingBroker).
- The receiving location doesn't have its own Default Lead Coordinator.
If the Subscription DLC receives a New RFP notification, they should immediately forward it to the property so the lead can be processed, and advise the location administrator to assign a DLC to their location. So select someone for this role who is familiar with the property sales teams, that has a good understanding of MeetingBroker Location Administration, and that is responsive to e-mail messages.
To change the Default Lead Coordinator for a subscription
- From the Subscription Administration Home page, click the Subscription tab and then click Preferences.
The Subscription Preferences page opens.
- Locate the Default Lead Coordinator field on the page.
- Click Save.
