Account Hierarchy report

The Account Hierarchy report displays the revenue for accounts that generate business on more than one level, for example, local, state, and national, using the parent-child account feature. This report is used to display revenue for a collection of accounts for example, universities, and major corporations, for specific periods.
The report displays the revenue generated by the parent account as well as the revenue generated by each child account. For each property, totals are given for Total Room Nights, Average Daily Room Rate, Total Guestroom Revenue, Total Event Revenue, and Total Revenue.
To run the report
- Open the account.
- Click Hierarchy.
- Complete the report criteria.
You can select multiple values for some criteria fields. To do so, press the CTRL key while selecting each value you want to include in the report.
Start and End Date Select the start and end dates for the report data. Additional Information Select whether to include additional information about the account's Bookings or Volume Contracts in the report. To exclude this information, select None. Property Select each property with account revenue that you want to include in the report. You can only select the properties that you have access to. Currency Select the currency formats that you want to include in the report. - Click Generate Report to view the report on-screen or Generate PDF to view the report as a PDF file that you can save or print.
- Review the report data.
Report data is grouped first by the parent property then by the child property. The information in the following table is available for Business, Lost Business, and Total Business.
Business Count This is the number of records based on booking status. Room Nights This is the total guestrooms based on current blended values. If the room block is marked pickup complete, the report uses the picked up number of rooms. Otherwise, it uses the blocked number of rooms. Average Rate This is the average daily rate charged for rooms based on current blended values. If the room block is marked pickup complete, the report uses the Pickup Guestroom Revenue Total divided by the Total Roomnights Picked Up. Otherwise, it uses the Blocked Guestroom Revenue Total divided by the Total Roomnights Blocked. Guestroom Revenue This is the revenue generated by rooms based on current blended values. If the room block is marked pickup complete, the report uses the Pickup Guestroom Revenue Total. Otherwise, it uses the Blocked Guestroom Revenue Total. Event Revenue This is the total event revenue generated based on current blended values. If the event is marked done, the report uses the Actual Event Revenue Total. Otherwise, it uses the Forecasted Event Revenue Total. Total Revenue This is the sum of the Guestroom Revenue plus the Event Revenue
