Account Hierarchy report

The Account Hierarchy report shows the revenue for accounts that generate business on more than one level (for example, local, state, and national) using the parent/child account functionality. If you use the parent/child relationship, this report is most often run to show revenue for a collection of accounts (such as universities and major corporations) for specific dates.

The report shows the revenue generated by the parent account as well as the revenue generated by each child account. For each property, totals are given for Total Room Nights, Average Daily Room Rate, Total Guestroom Revenue, Total Event Revenue, and Total Revenue within the specified date range.

To run the report

  1. Open the account.
  2. Click the Hierarchy button.
  1. Complete the report criteria.

    Some of the criteria fields allow you to select multiple values. To do so, press the CTRL key while clicking each value you want to include in the report.

    Start and End DateSelect the start and end dates for the report data.
    Additional InformationSelect whether to include additional information about the account's Bookings and/or Volume Contracts in the report. To exclude this information, select None.
    PropertySelect the properties whose account revenue you want to include in the report. You can only select the properties that you have access to.
    CurrencySelect the currency formats you want to include in the report.
  1. Click Generate Report to view the report on-screen or Generate PDF to view the report as a PDF file that you can save or print.
  1. Review the report data.

    Report data is grouped by parent property then by child property. The information in the following table is available for Business, Lost Business, and Total Business.

    Business CountA record count of both business and lost business based on booking status at this property within the report date range.
    Room NightsTotal guestrooms based on current blended values for this property and the report date range. If the room block is marked Pickup Complete, the report uses the picked up number of rooms. Otherwise, it uses the blocked number of rooms.
    Average RateThe average daily rate charged for rooms based on current blended values at the property within the report date range. If the room block is marked Pickup Complete, the report uses the Pickup Guestroom Revenue Total / Total Roomnights Picked Up to determine the average rate. Otherwise, it uses the Blocked Guestroom Revenue Total / Total Roomnights Blocked.
    Guestroom RevenueThe revenue generated by rooms based on current blended values at the property within the report date range. If the room block is marked Pickup Complete, the report uses the Pickup Guestroom Revenue Total. Otherwise, the Blocked Guestroom Revenue Total is used.
    Event RevenueThe total event revenue generated based on current blended values at the property within the report date range. If the event is marked Done, the report uses the Actual Event Revenue Total. Otherwise, the Forecasted Event Revenue Total is used.
