Overview: Alternate languages
With the alternate language feature, you can translate important booking and event information into different languages. You can then create BEOs, banquet checks, and advanced booking merge documents using those translations.
This feature requires version R19 or higher.
Amadeus supports the following languages: Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Dutch (NL), English (US), French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. A corporate administrator provides users with access to one or more alternate languages using permission sets. Users can only see the alternate language fields for those permission sets that have been assigned.
