Create function room groups
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
Function room groups are used to filter the Function Diary to make checking availability more efficient at large properties. For example, you can filter to see a smaller set of rooms such as all the outdoor space, rooms on the mezzanine level, or only the combination rooms.
Function room groups are created by an administrator on the Property page and can only include function rooms from a single property.
Each time you view the Function Diary, verify the applied Function Room Group filters. You might need to change the filters to see all the events that are holding space at the property. Your Function Room Group filter selections still apply the next time you open the Function Diary.
To create a function room group
- Open the property, navigate to the Function Room Groups section, and then click New. The New Function Room Group page opens.
- Complete the fields on this page, as needed.
Field Description Name This is the name of the function room group as shown in the Function Diary. Property This is the name of the property where the function room group is created. Description This is a description of the function room group. Sort Order Thisis the order that the function room group displays in the Function Diary. - Click Save. The Function Room Group page displays.
- In the Components area, click New. The New Function Room Group Component page displays.

In the Component Function Room list, assign a function room to the group.
A function room can be added to multiple groups.
- Click Save & New to save your changes and assign another function room to the group.
- Click Save when you are finished.
