Overview: Function rooms

Function rooms are the spaces within your property where events are held. The Function Diary uses the following icons to identify the different types of function rooms that can be blocked:

	Indivisible	Cannot be divided into smaller rooms. For example, Salon A is one section of the Grand Ballroom.
	Combination	Consists of multiple indivisible rooms. For example, the Grand Ballroom is a combination of Salon A and Salon B.

 

Apart from the function rooms at your property, there is also an automatically generated function room called Unassigned. It is crucial not to make any changes to it. This room acts as a virtual placeholder for events that either haven't been assigned a function room or run into conflicts with function room availability. To resolve these conflicts, users should move the event to a different available function room. For further details, please refer to Resolve event conflicts.

On the function diary, a function room that is part of a blocked combination room is displayed in a lighter shade of the event status color to indicate it is also not available.
