Inclusive pricing and taxes
You need to enable the enhanced taxes feature, available with version R21 and higher, to use the inclusive pricing feature in your org.
With enhanced taxes, you manage your taxes in the Tax Collection Configuration area of the Tax Group page. Select the Inclusive checkbox for each tax that is part of the inclusive price. The inclusive and exclusive prices both display to users.
The exclusive price is calculated by deducting all applicable taxes from the inclusive price. If you include administrative charges and gratuity in your inclusive prices, those fees, along with the taxes, are also used to calculate the exclusive price.
If your property uses a flat rate occupancy tax, under the Occupancy tab, this amount is not included in inclusive pricing. However, the occupancy tax does show on a separate line in merged documents.
