Inclusive pricing and taxes

You must use enhanced taxes to implement the inclusive pricing feature in your org. With enhanced taxes, you manage your taxes using the Tax Collection Configuration area on the Tax Group page. Select the Inclusive check box for each tax that is part of the inclusive price of a menu or item, function room rental rate, guestroom rate, package, or other income item. The exclusive price is calculated accordingly and displays both prices to users in the application, as shown below.

Editing Item Details page

The Excl. Price field is calculated by deducting all applicable taxes from the inclusive price. If you include administrative charges and gratuity in your inclusive prices, those fees (along with their applicable taxes) will also be used to calculate the exclusive price.
