Replace setup values

Corporate administrators can replace setup values on existing records. You can use this to cleanup unwanted values after you have migrated a new property into your database, or if your organization changes existing setup values. In a matter of minutes, all accounts and bookings are updated and you can run your reports with the new values.

To grant a property administrator access to assist with their property cleanup, add the Replace Setup Values permission set to their user profile.

To replace setup values

  1. Navigate to Amadeus Settings and select Replace Setup Values.
  2. Select the Property and the Setup Value Type. Results will be returned for all objects that use the selected Setup Value.
  3. Enter a Start From Date if you want to limit updates to records from this date forward. To update all records, leave this blank.
  4. Complete the Replace With for each setup value you want to update. Note that red values show those that are already deactivated.
  5. Click Replace Setup Values and confirm your changes.
  6. Click Audit/History to view progress and click on the Log Entry Number to view all updated entries and see a CSV file of changes available to download.

Validation rules in your database could cause records to fail, and some records may have to be updated manually. See the details of any invalid records in the audit history files.
