Replace setup values

Corporate administrators can replace setup values on existing records. You can use this to cleanup unwanted values after you have migrated a new property into your database, or if your organization changes existing setup values.

To grant a property administrator access to help with property cleanup, add the Replace Setup Values permission set to their user profile.

To replace setup values

  1. Navigate to Amadeus Settings and select Replace Setup Values.
  2. Select the Property and the Setup Value Type. Results display for all objects that use the selected type.
  3. Enter a Start From Date to limit updates to records from this date forward. To update all records, leave this field blank.
  4. Enter a value in the Replace With field for each setup value to update. Deactivated values display in red.
  5. Click Replace Setup Values and confirm your changes.
  6. Click Audit/History to view progress.
  7. Click Log Entry Number to view all updated entries and generate a CSV file of the changes.

Validation rules in your database can cause records to fail, and some records might need to be updated manually. See the details of any invalid records in the audit history files.
