Automatically mark events done

After you detail a BEO, the Done checkbox should be selected in the Booking Events grid. With this checkbox selected, reports use the actual revenue on the BEO rather than the event's forecasted values. This also indicates the BEO is ready for distribution. With this release, administrators can choose to have events automatically marked done, as long as they have a definite status. Events are automatically marked done a specified number of days after the event end date but can also be done a certain number of days before the event start date. For more information, see View property details. Corporate administrators, see Add the Mark Events Done checkboxes to the Property page for enablement instructions.

Bulk delete bookings

In R55, Amadeus introduced the Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge to remove unnecessary Booking Day Snapshot records to best optimize your data storage and reduce storage costs. This release, we are bringing you an exciting addition: the ability to bulk delete bookings. Bookings, and associated booking data, are often one of the largest sources of stored data. With R57, designated corporate administrators can delete up to 10,000 past bookings at one time.

Before enabling this feature, your corporate administrator needs to reach out to Amadeus Support. Our dedicated team can grant the ability to enable and configure the purge settings by property. For more information, see Bulk delete bookings. Corporate administrators, see Enable property object retention for enablement instructions.

Authorized administrators are automatically granted access to additional property object retention features as they become available. For example, if an administrator has permission to access the Booking Day Snapshot Purge, available with version R55, access to the Bulk Delete Bookings feature is automatically granted upon upgrade to version R57.

Enhancements to Autotraces

To save you from manually creating a standard set of tasks, you can activate autotraces to have Delphi automatically create the activities your property needs to stay on track with managing inquiries and bookings. This release, the Manage Autotraces page has been further developed. Several new autotraces are available that property administrators can use to automatically create tasks for users to follow up on upcoming deposits, past-due decision dates, and more. Additionally, booking autotraces can now be customized based on booking status, booking type, or market segment. For more information, see Autotraces.

Improved account and contact matching when converting inquiries to bookings

We know many accounts and contacts have similar names, and it’s important to select the correct record when converting an inquiry into a booking. To help minimize potential errors, the account and contact selection page has been updated. The algorithm has been improved to display the most likely matches first, and results are now presented in a table format for easier viewing. This new design includes additional record details to ensure users can quickly identify the correct selection. For more information, see Create bookings from inquiries.

MeetingBroker auto sign in

As of R57, users at properties integrated with the new MeetingBroker experience no longer need to enter their MeetingBroker credentials each time they work with an RFP. After a Delphi user signs in to the new MeetingBroker experience from within Delphi their user credentials are saved until their MeetingBroker login information changes.

Administrators are still required to comply with Multi-Factor Authentication requirements.

New guestroom experience updates

Navigating the new guestroom experience just got easier. The horizontal scroll bar now moves all room types simultaneously, keeping the date columns in sync. After a room type is expanded, the field label column remains visible as you scroll so you can view all days of your guestroom block without losing track of fields. Furthermore, some PMS integrations require all room types be added onto room blocks. For large properties with many room types, it can take users time to find the room types they are working with. A new button has been added to the new guestroom experience called Sort. When this button is selected, all room types with allocations display at the top of the page. For more information, see View room block details.

Opera OXI integration inclusive pricing

Delphi now supports the integration of inclusive guestroom rates with Opera OXI. Properties can configure this integration to send the inclusive guestroom rate to Opera through the existing AHWS Opera OXI integration without using rate codes. When a rate is returned from Opera to Delphi, taxes are deducted ensuring that Delphi's exclusive rate and revenue fields are reported correctly. To enable this feature, contact your sales representative.
