New features
-
Automatically mark events done. After you detail a BEO, the Done checkbox should be selected in the Booking Events grid. With this checkbox selected, reports use the actual revenue on the BEO rather than the event's forecasted values. This also indicates the BEO is ready for distribution. With this release, administrators can choose to have events automatically marked done, as long as they have a definite status. For more information, see View property details. Administrators, see Add the Mark Events Done checkboxes to the Property page for enablement instructions.
-
Bulk delete bookings. (CR0138495) In R55, Amadeus introduced the Booking Day Snapshot (BDS) purge to remove unnecessary Booking Day Snapshot records. In this release, we are introducing an additional way to reduce data storage fees: the ability to bulk delete historical bookings. For more information, see Bulk delete bookings. Corporate administrators, see Enable property object retention for enablement instructions.
-
Enhanced Data usage by property report. In R56, Amadeus introduced the Data usage by property report. With R57, the report has been enhanced. Now, only years with data display while setting the report criteria, so you can easily find what you need. All data is expressed in terms of KB/MB/GB, with grand totals displaying per property. There have also been a variety of improvements to report performance, and access to the report has been extended to property administrators. For more information, see Data usage by property report.
-
Enhancements to Autotraces. (CR0137985, CR0138047, CR0138904, CR0008656, CR0130448) The Manage Autotraces page, introduced in R51, has been further developed to include increased customization and several new autotraces. Property administrators can take advantage of these new offerings to automatically create tasks for users to follow up on upcoming deposits, past due decision dates, and more. Additionally, booking autotraces can now be refined based on booking status, booking type, or market segment. For more information, see Manage autotraces.
-
Improved account and contact matching when converting inquiries to bookings. (CR0136113) When you convert an inquiry into a booking, it is important to select the correct account and contact. With R57, all potential matches display in table format with the most likely matches at the top. This new design displays more details so you can easily identify the correct record. For more information, see Create bookings from inquiries.
-

To help you manage a booking's billing information, the Master Billing field has been added to the default Lightning Booking record page layout. For more information, see View booking details. Corporate administrators, see Add the Master Billing field to the Lightning Booking page for enablement instructions.
-
New guestroom experience updates.

Horizontal scroll. (CR0138874) The horizontal scroll bar now moves all room types simultaneously, keeping the date columns in sync. After a room type is expanded, the column containing the field labels remains visible as you scroll through all days of the room block.
-
See room types with allocations first. (CR0138621) A new button has been added called Sort. When this button is selected, all room types with allocations display at the top of the page. For more information, see View room block details.
-
Edit a room block's alternate name. (CR0127478) The Alternate Name field has been added to the Modify Block window.
-
Improved booking navigation. (CR0138296) The Booking Post As field, at the top of the room block window, is now a hyperlink. You can use this hyperlink to launch the booking in a new tab without closing the room block.
Changes made while working in multiple tabs are not reflected until the page is refreshed.
-
-
New guestroom summary merge tables with all room counts and totals. (CR0121823) Two new non-package guestroom merge tables are available to display additional room block details. Located in the Guestroom template parts section of Advanced Booking templates, Room Totals Combined 'RmsSummary(AFBPRms-DOWAcr-RmDwn)' displays the total number of each room type per day. Room Total SDTQ 'RmsSummary(AFBPRmsSDTQ-DOWAcr-RmDwn)' breaks the data down further by displaying a total for each occupancy type.
-
Set Visible to all properties to be checked by default. (CR0138831) To share an account with all properties in the org, the Visible to All properties checkbox on the Account page needs to be selected. Many organizations use a workflow to have this automatically selected in the background. Corporate administrators can enable a new setting that selects this checkbox by default for all newly created accounts. The accounts are then automatically shared with all Delphi and Delphi Core properties in the org, thus eliminating the need for existing workflows. For more information, see Amadeus settings. Corporate administrators, see Set Visible to all properties to be checked by default for enablement instructions.
Integrated product updates
-
MeetingBroker auto sign in. As of R57, users at properties integrated with the new MeetingBroker experience no longer need to enter their MeetingBroker credentials each time they work with an RFP. After a Delphi user signs in to the new MeetingBroker experience from within Delphi their user credentials are saved until their MeetingBroker login information changes.
Administrators are still required to comply with Multi-Factor Authentication requirements.
-
Opera OXI integration inclusive pricing. (CR0127419) Delphi now supports the integration of inclusive guestroom rates with Opera OXI. Properties can configure this integration to send the inclusive guestroom rate to Opera through the existing AHWS Opera OXI integration without using rate codes. When a rate is returned from Opera to Delphi, taxes are deducted ensuring that Delphi's exclusive rate and revenue fields are reported correctly. To enable this feature, contact your sales representative.

To prevent inaccurate reporting and decrease the level of effort for users updating the field, a change in the booking clone process has been implemented. The materialization percent field does not clone when users use the clone booking feature. For more information, see Clone bookings.
-
Data usage by property report. To allow corporate administrators to determine the data usage of each property to allocate storage costs accurately, a new report has been created. This new report on the Amadeus Settings page, shows the approximate data storage consumed by each property based on attributable records. The data can be exported to a CSV file for further aggregation and analysis as needed. For more information, see Data usage by property report.
-

Visual indicators for filters in Manage Menus & Items and Menu & Item Search. This feature is available with the Delphi product type only.

Channel Rates and Availability user interface. This feature is for properties integrated with an external API, such as Shop & Book. A Channel Rates and Availability button now displays on the Availability page to access guestroom and package information from the API. Sales managers can use the Channel Rates and Availability interface to search their properties that sell online and view the same availability and pricing for guestrooms and packages as an online shopper. They can then create a booking with that pricing directly from this interface. For more information, see Channel Rates and Availability. Corporate administrators, see Enable channel rates and availability for enablement instructions.
