What is MeetingBroker?
MeetingBroker is a lead-passing application that connects meeting planners and hospitality sales offices. The integration between MeetingBroker and Amadeus Sales & Events Management - Standard & Essentials (ASEM) enables you to capture and win new business from multiple channels, including above property sales, your hotel website, and public channels like Cvent. So if you currently log into Cvent to respond to their leads, you can skip most of that and just work in here on your inquiry and booking if your property purchases MeetingBroker.

RFP workflow
- When a customer submits an RFP from any of the channels in your MeetingBroker subscription, the owner is assigned based on the location settings controlled by your administrator.
- The details from MeetingBroker are copied to the inquiry that is automatically created and assigned to the owner or the user listed in the Default Lead Coordinator field on the Property Details page.
- The inquiry owner receives an email message from MeetingBroker. This is their cue to open the inquiry in ASEM.
- The inquiry owner does one of the following:
- Creates a booking from the inquiry to bid on the business and send a proposal.
- Confirms receipt of the inquiry if more time is needed to evaluate the business and your property uses RFP View escalation.
- Turns down the inquiry if it is not possible to bid on the business.
- Assigns the inquiry to a different user. MeetingBroker automatically sends an email message to the new owner.
- As the booking is updated, those changes are automatically sent back to MeetingBroker as business data. This automated flow of data between the two applications saves you hours of manual data entry and allows you to respond very quickly to your customers.
If the RFP is updated, awarded, cancelled, or withdrawn by the sender, MeetingBroker sends you notifications. You will also receive these notifications as tasks on your Home page—as well as on the inquiry and/or booking—which also saves you a lot of time!
