Migration FAQs
Welcome to Delphi Diagramming! As a previous user of MeetingMatrix 2010, this page is for you. Moving from one program to the other is an easy process as the steps to build a diagram are similar. This page answers some common questions new users have about the migration.

The Amadeus migration team does most of the work. Amadeus creates your Delphi Diagramming property with all your existing rooms that we have on file from your MeetingMatrix projects.
When this process is complete, your property administrator receives an email with a Delphi Diagramming login. The administrator can follow this checklist, which includes creating other user logins. While your administrator is working on the checklist, you can still access MeetingMatrix.

Your admin can add users to share the workload. Administrator permissions can even be added temporarily.

You can continue to work in MeetingMatrix for important upcoming events while you get used to Delphi Diagramming. However, to avoid confusion, Amadeus recommends uninstalling MeetingMatrix from your workstations after the Delphi Diagramming setup is complete. All event diagrams created in MeetingMatrix are saved as MMS files. These are still available after uninstalling MeetingMatrix and can be imported into Delphi Diagramming.

When you have questions while working in the system, you can click Help () on any page to view the corresponding help topic. The page opens inline, which means you don't have to toggle back and forth between tabs as you work through your tasks.

You might. To create your new property, we use the Room Diagram files saved from your MeetingMatrix projects. Any work done by Amadeus is transferred to Delphi Diagramming. If you made changes yourself or created your own rooms in MeetingMatrix, you need to make those same updates in Delphi Diagramming.

While you can mass import all existing diagrams, Amadeus recommends only importing any setup diagrams for upcoming events, and any you use on a regular basis. The easiest way to do this is to import your existing MMS files. See Import diagrams for more information.

With Delphi Diagramming you can make any changes yourself. The administrator checklist includes instructions on how to enable your meeting spaces for automatic layout using Layouts, which also updates your maximum capacities.

You can create individual setups just like in MeetingMatrix. In Delphi Diagramming, they are called Quick Rooms Plans. We also have bookings and events that you can use if you want. When a customer requires multiple diagrams, it can be helpful to organize them by booking. You can then batch print all their diagrams into a single PDF.

Delphi Diagramming has two editions: Property and Website.
The complimentary transfer includes Property Edition, which fully replaces the features of MeetingMatrix. You can use Property Edition to make diagrams to send to customers.
Website Edition adds interactive diagrams to your website to showcase your property. Customers can see local attractions surrounding your property and see what is located on each level of your hotel with intuitive floor plans. They can also review setup styles for each room, and create their own diagrams to share with you.
To purchase Website Edition, contact sales before you sign up for the complimentary transfer. We have a promotional offer for customers who want to have both editions installed at the same time. This includes more savings than adding Website Edition later.
