Seating Preferences Editor
Use the Seating Preferences Editor to tell the system how each setup should default to fill a room to maximum capacity. For example, if your standard banquet layout uses six-foot round tables and 10 chairs per table. Once you have set these defaults, it's much faster to make the setup available for each meeting space using the Layout Editor. Any particulars for each room can be adjusted in the Layout Editor, like if Salon A requires a narrower aisle width than all other rooms.
You must be an administrator to access the Seating Preferences Editor.
Ensure your tables and chairs have been entered in the Resources Editor before setting your preferences.
To set seating preferences:
- From the Property Edition home page, click your name in the upper-right corner of the page and then click Seating Preferences Editor.
- Select a seating style and review tables, chairs, and layout arrangements in the left side panel. For aisle and distance settings, refer to the visual example on the canvas. The options you can edit differ depending on the selected seating style. For example, banquet seating allows you to define tables, chairs, direction, aisles, and distances.
- Select the available options that you'd like to edit and make your changes.
- Click Save . When creating a room plan or using the Layout Editor, these preferences are the defaults.
