Print and email reports on the Reports tab
Reports on the Reports tab can be downloaded as a Microsoft Excel (.xls) file. Use Excel to print the report or save it to attach to an email message.
Select your Salesforce experience.
Classic - Delphi users only
To print a report
- Run the report and click Printable View. The report is downloaded as an .xls file.

Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.
If Excel displays a warning when opening this file, click Yes to proceed.
- In Excel, click the File tab and click Print.
- Choose your printer and settings and click Print.
To email a report
- Run the report, and then click Printable View. The report is downloaded as an .xls file.
- Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.
- In Excel, click the File tab, click Save As, and specify a location to save the file.
- Open your email program, create a new message addressed to the appropriate recipients, attach the .xls file, and send.
Lightning - Delphi and Delphi Core users
To print a report
- Run the report and click Export.
- Select Formatted Report and click Export.

Open the .xls file in Microsoft Excel.

To email a report
- Run the report and click Export.
- Select Formatted Report and click Export.
- In Excel, click the File tab, click Save As, and specify a location to save the file.
