Tips for displaying packages on merge documents
The following are some additional items to consider when you include packages on merge documents.
- The merge document type needs to be Advanced Booking to add package tables, known as template parts.
-
Three main types of package template parts are available. Select the appropriate tables for your bookings.
-
Package Name and Description — This table displays only the name of the package and its description.
-
PkgsNoRms — Tables that begin with PkgsNoRms can be used to display the package price. As the name indicates, these tables are for packages with no guestrooms. This table lists the package attendance and price per day. To include events, use the Event List with Inc in Pkg Reference table from the Event template parts section.
-
PkgsRms — Tables that begin with PkgsRms can be used for packages that include guestrooms. Some of these tables do not include the room rate. You can include a PkgsRms table with Attd in the name as well to display the package price. Then, update the room rate manually on your merge document, or try other PkgsRms tables to find another style.

-
The table names include the following abbreviations for attendance status: Agreed (Agr), Blocked (Blk), Pickup (PU), Forecasted (Fcst) or Guaranteed (Gtd).
Use View Sample () to see an example of the table before you place it on the document.
