Reset user passwords

Corporate Administrators can reset user passwords. An email notification is sent to each user with a temporary password and a link for logging in to Salesforce. The user will be prompted to change this password upon their initial login.

To reset a password

  1. Click Setup in the top-right corner.
  2. In the Quick Find search box, start typing "Users" without pressing enter.
  3. When you see it as an available option below, select it.
  4. Select the check box next to each user whose password you want to reset.
  5. Click Reset Password(s).
  6. Confirm the reset.
