Amadeus user settings

You can use the Amadeus User Settings page to select your default property, customize certain Availability page options, and indicate which MeetingBroker notifications need to be created as RFP activities. Your selections on this page apply only to your login and do not affect other users.

To set the Amadeus user settings

  1. Navigate to Amadeus User Settings.

  2. Complete the fields on this page, as needed.

    General settings details
    Default Property Select the default property for Availability, Enter Pickup pages, and any inquiries, bookings, or volume contracts you create.

    RFP activity notifications details

    This section displays only when you have access to a property that is integrated with MeetingBroker, and where the RFP activities feature has been enabled. Your selections are based on your login. They are not property specific.

    All fields

    Select which notifications sent from MeetingBroker automatically create activities.

    • Select the Create for Inquiry or the Create for Booking checkbox to indicate where you want the corresponding activity to display.

    • The activity also displays on your Home page unless you select the Mark Complete checkbox. Because your Home page displays only open tasks, you need to go to the Activity section of the inquiry or booking to see the activities marked complete.

    Availability settings details
    Remember Last Availability Date Select this option if you want the Availability page to display the last date you viewed each time you open it.
    Prevent Availability Autoload

    Select this option to indicate whether availability data loads automatically when you click the Availability tab.

    • When this option is selected, the Availability page waits to load data until you select a property and click Go. This speeds up availability checks for properties with many function rooms.
    • When this option is cleared, the Availability page automatically loads data for the last property and date that were selected. You must wait until this data has finished loading before you can select a different date and property to view.

    Hide Unassigned Function Rooms in Diary Select this option if you want to hide the Unassigned function room in the Function Diary. This can speed up availability checking for properties that have many function rooms. You can always override this setting while working in the Diary by right-clicking in the Function Room column and selecting or clearing the Hide Unassigned Function Rooms checkbox.
    Function Diary Start Hour Select the default start time for your Function Diary.
    Manage menus and items settings details
    Remember Item Category Filter in Item Search Select this option to indicate whether the item category filter needs to be remembered in the Search Items window.
  3. Click Save.
