RFP activities
Use the RFP activities feature to review your RFPs from one central location, your Home page. Your Home page displays which RFPs are updated, cancelled, withdrawn, or awarded.
This feature is available with version R23 or higher.
RFP activities are created based on notifications that are sent from MeetingBroker. You decide which notifications to create as activities using the Amadeus User Settings page. These activities can be copied to the associated inquiry, booking, or both.
Some RFP activities are for informational purposes and do not require action. You can keep those tasks out of your Home page queue by selecting the Mark Complete option on the Amadeus User Settings page.
Your Home page displays open tasks only. To view completed tasks, view the activity section of the inquiry or booking.
Do not select the Mark Complete option if the RFP activities might require action. You can review each RFP and decide if any actions need to be taken. These activities display on the Home page and in the activity section of the inquiry and booking.
Additional information
- The RFP activities feature needs to be enabled for you to see the RFP Activity Notifications section of the Amadeus User Settings page. The options you select apply to all properties.
- When converting the inquiry to a booking, you can copy the inquiry's activities to the booking and close all open activities on the inquiry.
- After an inquiry is converted to a booking, activities continue to be created on the inquiry and booking based on your selections on the Amadeus User Settings page. When multiple RFP inquiries are linked to a booking, activities are created only for the booking's primary inquiry.
- You only receive RFP activities for those inquiry and booking records that you own.
