Overview: RFP inquiries

MeetingBroker is a lead-passing application that connects meeting planners and sales people. The integration between MeetingBroker and Amadeus Sales & Event Management enables you to capture and win new business from multiple channels, including above property sales, sister properties, and public channels like Cvent.

When a customer submits an RFP from any of the channels in your MeetingBroker subscription, their information automatically creates an RFP inquiry, and notifies you with an email message. If the RFP is updated, awarded, cancelled, or withdrawn by the sender, MeetingBroker sends you notifications. You can receive these notifications as tasks on your Home page—as well as on the inquiry and/or booking—if your property is using the RFP activities feature.

When you convert the inquiry into a booking, any changes you make to the booking details (for example, status or revenue updates) automatically flow back to MeetingBroker as business data. This automated flow of data between the two applications saves you hours of manual data entry and allows you to respond very quickly to your customers.
