Satisfy MeetingBroker escalation
MeetingBroker can be configured to apply escalation to an RFP until one of the following conditions is met: the RFP is viewed or an action is taken on the RFP. At that point, MeetingBroker will stop sending escalation alerts.
The steps you take when you receive an RFP inquiry will determine whether or not escalation is satisfied. Check with your MeetingBroker administrator to determine if you are using escalation, and if they have opted for the view or action policy.
For MeetingBroker to consider an RFP as viewed, you need to perform one of the following actions on the inquiry:
- Click the Confirm Receipt button to indicate the inquiry has been viewed but more time is needed to evaluate it.
- Click the Turndown button to indicate the property will not be bidding on the business.
- Click the Create Booking button and then save the new booking.
For MeetingBroker to consider an RFP as actioned, you need to perform one of the following actions on the inquiry:
- Click the Turndown button to indicate the property will not be bidding on the business.
- Create a booking from the inquiry, click the Send Proposal button, and then submit a proposal.
- Create a booking from the inquiry and then change it to a terminal status (Definite, Lost, Turned Down, or Cancelled).
