Satisfy MeetingBroker escalation
MeetingBroker can be configured to apply escalation rules to an RFP until the RFP is viewed or an action is taken on the RFP. At that point, MeetingBroker stops sending escalation alerts.
Check with your MeetingBroker administrator to find out if you are using escalation rules, and if they have use the view or action policy. The following steps can satisfy escalation rules.
For MeetingBroker to consider an RFP as viewed, you need to perform one of the following actions on the inquiry:
- Click Confirm Receipt to indicate the inquiry has been viewed but more time is needed to evaluate it.
- Click Turndown & Reply to indicate the property is not bidding on the business.
- Click Create Booking and then save the new booking.
For MeetingBroker to consider an RFP as actioned, you need to perform one of the following actions on the inquiry:
- Click Turndown & Reply to indicate the property is not bidding on the business.
- Create a booking from the inquiry, click Send Proposal, and then submit a proposal.
- Create a booking from the inquiry and then change the status to Definite, Lost, Turned Down, or Cancelled.
