Turn down RFP inquiries

If the lead came from a channel with a response portal, such as Cvent, the status is automatically updated for you. You don't need to log in to their website to update the status.

Turning down an inquiry will satisfy the assignment rule escalation.

To turn down an RFP inquiry

  1. Open the inquiry.
  2. Click the Turndown & Reply button.

    The Turndown RFP page opens.

  1. Select the Lost Business Reason. This is sent back to Cvent, Groups360, SpeedRFP, SignUp4, Venue Directory, 1000Meetings, CVBs, and Central Sales (formerly Connex).
  2. In the Message field, enter comments. As of R40, these comments are sent back to Central Sales and Cvent, saving you the step of sending a separate email. For RFPs from other channels, the comments are sent back to MeetingBroker, but not forwarded on to the sender.
  1. Click Turndown.
  2. Click Save.
