Edit a resource

Only administrators have access to the Resources page.

You can use the Resources page to edit your property's resources.

To open this page, in the navigation menu (Icon of a hamburger menu), click Administration and then click Resources.

What do you want to do?

  1. Select the property to work with at the top of the page.
  2. In the left panel, click the resource category, for example, Tables, and then click the resource type, for example, Round. All resource varieties of the selected type display.
  3. Click Edit (Icon of a settings gear) next to the resource to edit.
  4. Update the information as needed.
  5. Do one of the following:
    • Click Save (Icon of a floppy disk) to save your changes.
    • Click Cancel (Icon of a circle with a line through it) to discard your changes.
  1. Select the property to work with at the top of the page.
  2. In the left panel, click the resource category, for example, Tables, and then click the resource type, for example, Round. All resource varieties of the selected type display.

  3. Click 3D Preview at the top of the page. The 3D Preview page displays.

    Any changes made here apply to all resources of this type.

  4. Select the Default style that best represents this resource type.
  5. Do one or more of the following:
    • To view the resource, drag the 3D model or zoom in and out.

    • Select the color for each element.

      You can save your own custom colors. On the color palette, move the circle indicator or type the Hex, RGB, or HSL code numbers. Then, click Add to make the color one of the default options.

    • Select the texture for each element.

      Click Upload Texture (Icon of a piece of paper with an arrow pointing upward) in the Texture Selection window to upload your own texture. See below for additional information.

  6. Do one of the following:

    • Click Save to save your changes.
    • Click Cancel to discard your changes.

If you want to upload custom texture files, consider the following:

  • The file needs to be a .jpg, .gif, or .png.
  • The file needs to be smaller than 10 MB. The smaller the file, the faster it uploads. However, do not sacrifice image quality. A file 200 to 500 KB in size is large enough.
  • Typical dimensions for texture files are 512 pixels by 512 pixels.
  • The image repeats in tiles when viewing the room.

  • To delete a custom file, select the image and click Delete (Icon of a trashcan).

    If the deleted file is the default and you do not select a new default file, the original default texture is used.

  2. In the left panel, click the resource category, for example, Tables, and then click the resource type, for example, Round. All resource varieties of the selected type display.

  3. Click Reset Colors at the top of the page and confirm.

    Any changes made here apply to all resources of this type.
