This option will purge both transient and group reservations, helping to reduce storage space consumption for the org. Deleting group reservations using this option will not impact pickup data. Please contact Amadeus Hospitality Customer Support to enable this functionality.

New features
- Keyboard shortcuts for updating package attendance.(CR0130549) Managing package attendance just got a whole lot easier. If you have the same attendance numbers for multiple days in a row, you now have keyboard shortcuts you can use to quickly copy. Enter the number on the first date, then press CTRL+B to copy to the rest of the days and rows in the pattern. CTRL+SHIFT+B copies the selected row (for example Agreed) to the rest of the pattern. If the package has guestrooms, you still manage attendance in the room block. If you're not already using Room Block Shortcuts, a corporate administrator can enable this feature by following these steps.
- Single BEO template for new properties. When a new property is created using the New Property Setup feature, instead of choosing whether you will use an inclusive, package, or exclusive BEO template, we have developed a single template that automatically detects those settings. This will streamline the onboarding process, giving property administrators one less thing to do.
- Increased security for file uploads. To better protect your company's assets, we have certified our application's compatibility with the Salesforce setting that prevents the upload of these file types as documents or as attachments: HTML, htt, mht, svg, swf, thtml and xhtml. We highly recommend that corporate administrators follow these steps to enable this setting: In Setup, search for and select File Upload and Download Security under Security Controls. Click Edit, select both checkboxes at the top of the page: Don't allow HTML uploads as attachments or document records, and Download custom file types as attachments. Then click Save.
Fixed Issues
CR0132995: When merged into a document, custom date and time fields display in the user's time zone rather than converting to GMT.
CR0091207: The full guestroom type name is now displayed instead of the room code when adding room types to a room block.
CR0121237: When using the latest Amadeus BEO template, "included in package" displays instead of the price for detailed menus and items when they are associated with a booking package.
CR0133832: Using the Generate & Email feature when merging a document now completes a contact search without error.
CR0130831: When creating a booking from an inquiry, if a new booking owner is selected they are now assigned as the owner of the room block.
CR0131165: Opera integration: a room type may not be removed from a room block if pickup values have been provided from Opera. This restriction helps alleviate the risk of pickup discrepancies between systems and reduces the amount of "All room and rate values must be greater than or equal to 0" errors.

New features
- Clone diagram when cloning an event. Properties integrated with Delphi Diagramming now have the option when cloning events to also clone the associated diagrams. What a time saver!
-
Backdating bookings for new properties. If you're a new property, one of your first tasks is to enter all future business on the books. To have accurate pace and productivity reports, it's important to record the correct date when those bookings originated (the Booked Date field) and when the booking changed to the current status (Last Status Date field). Normally those fields default to today and can't be changed. Now corporate administrators can enable backdating bookings, which opens those fields up for the team to edit.
As soon as the bookings that require backdating have been entered, the administrator just clears the checkbox, and the property is live. No more need to schedule a go-live process with Support! You want to accomplish this as quickly as possible because when you are in backdating mode, incremental changes to bookings are not captured, impacting your performance reports. See the Backdating Bookings topic to learn more. Note: Backdating is only for new properties—do not enable this for properties that migrated from another system, or an extract/append from another Amadeus Sales & Catering database.
-
Self onboarding. New customers can now create their own property as soon as they receive their login. In a matter of minutes, you can enter your property details, guestroom inventory, even function space. This is a fantastic option for savvy administrators who need to add a new property to an existing org. For example, if you acquire a new property, a corporate administrator can immediately create the property, purchase the user licenses, and onboard the team. Visit the Add a new property topic or watch the video.
If you still want to have guidance from our industry experts, we would love to work with you. Contact our Sales team to learn about consulting and training package options.
Do not create your own property if you are migrating data from another sales & catering system or purchasing a new property services package—we'll add the property for you.
-
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). In the near future, Salesforce will require everyone to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). This extra step of security helps confirm that it's really you logging in—and not a nefarious hacker. For those of you who are ready to bump up your security now—we've got you covered. See Activate MFA to learn how to enable this highly recommended feature. If you have single sign-on, additional considerations must be made. See the Salesforce Multi-Factor Authentication FAQ knowledge article to learn more.
-
Administrator training course. Whether you're a first-time user setting up a brand new property, newly promoted administrator, or you just need to brush up on how to create merge templates—our new Administrator course is the perfect place to start. Each lesson covers a main administrative task and includes an excellent overview, best practices, and how-to instruction all on one page.
-
Create users training video. Only a corporate administrator can create and manage users—it's a big responsibility. This new video is ideal for new and experienced corporate administrators interested in learning best practices and tips for creating, managing, and onboarding new users.

CR0133773: Historical reservation records created from Opera may now be deleted based on their departure date (either 180 or 365 days in the past). New features
- Reassign Owners. (CR0091435/CR0091434) To help alleviate some of the administrative tasks associated with employee turnover and data migrations, we've added new functionality to make it easy to reassign records from one owner to another. Property administrators can now reassign accounts, bookings, or activities from one user to another to ensure a smooth transition. You can also use this feature to clean up uncompleted tasks.
- Clone Packages in setup. (CR0121562) Here's another nice win for administrators. When you have multiple packages with similar items, the easiest way to create the package is to clone an existing one. Yes, that's right, you can now clone package templates and then add or remove items as needed.
- Add function rooms and update capacities. Do you need to update your function room capacities for social distancing? Upgrade to R41 before you do! We've updated the user experience to make adding your property's function rooms and capacities much faster. On the Property page, point to the Function Rooms related list and click New Function Room or Update Capacities.
- Enhanced Delphi Diagramming integration. We've enhanced the Delphi Diagramming integration by adding a Diagrams column to the events grid, and a preview of the room plan directly on the Booking page. Now you can quickly identify which events you've created diagrams for, and open them from the booking. To take advantage of this new functionality, your corporate administrator must add the Diagrams section to the Booking page. Don't have Delphi Diagramming and want to learn more? Cvent update
- Lost comments to Cvent. (CR0130806) When you receive a MeetingBroker lead from Cvent, you can now send personalized lost comments without ever leaving the system. When you change the status of an inquiry or a booking that came from MeetingBroker to Lost, Turndown, or Cancelled, the information you enter in the Lost Comments field is automatically sent to Cvent. Now you'll spend less time responding to leads that don't materialize, while still adding that personal touch.
Inquiry lost comments will only be sent for version R40 or higher. Booking lost comments are sent regardless of version.
