New Features
- Default properties are automatically assigned. Onboarding is now even easier! Administrators no longer need to manually select a user’s default property. When a new user is granted access to their first property, it will automatically be assigned as their default property as well.
- Support for additional alternate languages. (CR0128732) If you regularly book business with international customers, being able to communicate in multiple languages is crucial to executing flawless events and ensuring your customer’s satisfaction. If you are using R19 or later, you already have the tool set you need to translate key booking and event information in different languages. You can create BEOs, banquet checks, and Advanced Booking merge documents in one or two languages using the translations your team has provided in the alternate language fields. R46 includes support for the additional following languages: Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Russian, and Turkish. A corporate administrator provides users with access to one or more alternate languages using permission sets. You’ll only see the alternate language fields for those permission sets that have been assigned to you.
Add alternate language fields to page layouts
- Ability to copy a booking to another property. (CR0122586) If you are responsible for booking business into more than one property, cross-selling is a key priority to keep business within the family. When a returning customer wants to place business in a sister property, instead of recreating the booking from scratch, you'll now be able to copy their existing booking to another Delphi property.
Fixed Issues
CR0135284: The “Included in package” checkbox retains its selection when copying package menus and items.
CR0135167: For large bookings, an error message will no longer display if a booking source is added or changed.
CR0135526: When creating a new room block on a booking for another property, an error message will no longer display if the housing method values are different at both properties.
CR0135901: On the GRC report, a caret symbol (^) is displayed next to the booking name when the booking has been marked pickup complete.

New Features
- GRC Report enhancements. (CR0122163, CR0132440, CR0121531, CR0122603) We've added more ways to slice and dice the data so that you can customize the report to your needs.
- Group by Booking Status, Room Block status, or Market Segment.
Run the report by booking status like you always have or dig deeper and group by room block status. This separates each room block that could have a different status to the booking, providing a granular view, and more insight when forecasting. For a new approach, interrogate your guestroom data to identify room night, revenue, and ADR patterns by market segment.
- Display the name of the booking, or the abbreviation to save space.
- Display the room block PMS ID to cross-check your reservation system.
- View the materialization percentage to determine the likelihood to convert.
- Group by Booking Status, Room Block status, or Market Segment.
- Guestroom block indicates unsaved changes. (CR0129996) You answered the phone, wrote an email, and are now working to update two bookings. With all the chaos that surrounds you, it's a miracle if a mistake does not happen sooner or later. To help you keep track, in the manage guestrooms window, you'll now see a red triangle in the upper left corner of cells that have been modified. These disappear when you click save.
- Redesigned package setup. Creating a new package template in setup used to mean lots of clicking around, and it was easy to lose your place within all the pages. Well, not anymore! We've simplified the workflow so that it's all on one page. Click a button to manage the list of existing packages, or create a new one. Enter the details on the page, and then click save to continue to the next step. That's all it takes! Training & Help displays in a handy side panel to guide you through each component. It's now faster than ever for administrators to navigate a package. Corporate administrators can add the Manage Packages button following your upgrade to R45.
- Improved user tracking. (CR0122355, CR0128279) Are you a corporate administrator for multiple properties? We know that keeping track of user licenses can be a full time job. Following your upgrade to R45, we're giving you some tools to make the process easier. Add the number of full, limited, and banquet licenses purchased by each property. When creating a new user, add the property their license needs to be subtracted from. You'll see an up to date count of total in use and available right on the property page. We also provided a report so you won't need to manage an excel spreadsheet anymore! If your org would benefit from this, follow these steps to reconcile user licenses.
- Proposals and contracts display daily totals for packages. Let's say Platinum Industries have a two day booking that has 40 guests on a daily delegate package. Your merge document displays 40 guests @ $125 each. Now, with a quick update to the document template, it can also include $5000 as the total cost per day and $10,000 as the total package cost for the booking. If you have customized template parts, you'll need to follow these steps to add these to the new merge template zip file immediately following upgrade to R45.
- Duplicate rule messages. If your org has a mixture of Delphi and Delphi Select properties and you have enabled the Salesforce duplicate rules, this one is for you. Let's say, the account for Platinum Industries based in Portsmouth exists five times already. When a Delphi Select user tries to create another one, these five accounts display in the suggested list. It can be difficult to determine the best match, leading to lots of clicking around. Now, we display more information about each one, such as the address, so it's much faster to find the one you need. This applies to both Account and Contact matching rules.
- End of Support for Microsoft Internet Explorer. As of June 15 2022, Microsoft sunset Internet Explorer, so we'll no longer proactively build our application to work with it. To avoid disruption, we recommend transitioning to another supported browser as detailed in our system requirements.
Fixed Issues
CR0133725: Notifications in Amadeus Hospitality Web Services (AHWS) are fully processed before progressing to the next. This keeps Amadeus Sales & Catering and AHWS synchronized to accurately reflect data in reports. This addresses out-of-sync data between Amadeus Sales & Catering and AHWS that caused the GRC report to display inaccuracies.
CR0122098: Force BEO and Banquet Check to PDF applies to BEO and Banquet Check documents only.
CR0133088: Events not assigned a BEO number are not removed from the events grid.
CR0122204: The Block/Pickup Comparison report allows consumption start and end dates to be entered as required.
CR0130484: The kitchen report displays decimal places as expected.
CR0122105: When adding items to a choice group, only active items are returned in search results.
CR0134577: When backdating bookings, the last status date is updating as expected.
CR0134472: When merging documents secondary language fields display as selected.
CR0135084: If you have an integration to Opera PMS, stay message processing has been updated to ensure the correct (active) booking is marked pickup complete when a PMS ID is re-used.
CR0135304: The room block cut off date is available in the merge tool to add to advance booking documents.
CR0135079: When creating a new property, event classifications have the correct record type.
Bookings with no revenue type can be included in pace reports.

Daily Transactions Report. (CR0090714) Here's a blast from the past! One of the most useful reports is back by popular demand—the Daily Transactions report. This report displays revenue impacting booking changes including new business, status changes, room block updates, and revenue changes—all in one place. Having this information is extremely useful to sales directors, revenue managers, and reservation teams to ensure users are not making mistakes, changing negotiated rates without prior approval, or vastly impacting forecast reports without notifying the appropriate people. You can find this in the Booking section of the Amadeus Reports tab.

New Features
- Indicator for unsaved changes when entering pickup. (CR0133546) How many times have you been interrupted in the middle of a task, only to forget where you left off when you returned? To help you keep track on the Enter Pickup tab, before you save your changes you'll now see a red triangle in the upper left corner of each cell you have modified. These will disappear after you click save.
- New Fields for Room blocks. (CR0128491) We've made it easier to communicate reservation arrangements for properties that create multiple guestroom blocks in bookings. Track the housing method, billing instructions, meal plan details, and if the rate is confidential for each room block separately. This makes it much easier to store requirements for sub-blocks like VIPs, staff rooms, or sports teams in the right place. To find the six new fields, open the room block, click Modify Room Block, then click the Advanced tab.
- Display more Room block information in merge documents. You can include the new fields from the room block on your contracts and resumes so that your team no longer need to manually type how guests from different blocks will make their reservation, or how they should settle their bill. For those of you who use advanced booking documents, there is also a brand new table that shows the name of each room block and all the additional information that has been captured so it's easy to read, ready for guest arrivals. For step-by-step instructions to customize the new fields and add them to your existing merge templates, see Display room block fields on merge documents.
If you have customized template parts, a corporate administrator needs to add the custom tables to the new template part zip file immediately following your update.
- Quote events in alternate currencies. If you regularly provide quotes to your international clients in their local currency rather than your own, then this one is for you! You can store prices for your menus and items in up to three additional currencies, then display them on merge documents like the BEO and banquet check whenever you need to —this saves sales managers manually creating and updating multiple documents. If you want to implement this functionality, contact your Amadeus Sales Representative to schedule time with a member of our Professional Services team.
- Merge tool removed from custom links. To make sure you always have access to download the latest and greatest version of the Amadeus Merge Tool, it's moved to a place we can update without requiring an upgrade to your org. From R44, you'll no longer see a link for the merge tool on the Home page under Custom Links. Don't worry it's not going far, you'll always have access to it right here, in Training &Help.
- Duplicate rules in multi-module orgs. (CR0134286) When it comes to data, we know quality over quantity matters and the last thing anyone wants to see is another duplicate account. When corporate administrators use Salesforce account and contact duplicate management rules in Delphi, they will be enabled for Delphi Select too. Now, if users in Delphi Select create an Account or Contact, we'll show them if it already exists and suggest using the existing one.
Fixed Issues
CR0122506: The PMS ID/ Group code from individual room blocks can be added to advanced merge templates. You must be on R44 and have the latest version of the merge tool.
CR0134364: Inactive users are now available for selection when reassigning record owners.
CR0134387: Alternate language characters display properly in the Property picklist of the Manage Events grid.
CR0122529: Property gratuity and admin charge on revenue classifications now populate when building a package.
CR0134349: Copying items from one event to another no longer displays an error when using legacy taxes.
CR0134405: When copying events from an existing booking, you can now search for and select an event.
CR0122412: Cancelled, turned down, and lost events no longer show a capacity conflict or setup/teardown conflict.
CR0131713 & CR0130518: Deposits can now be created for currencies that use a comma as the decimal separator.
CR0127479: The Inclusive Rate field now calculates correctly for currencies that use commas as decimal separators on Enter Pickup pages.

Amadeus Reports tab reordered. For the past couple of years, we've been releasing rewritten versions of our most popular reports to improve their speed and usability. As we released each one, they were added to the "Preview Reports" section of the Amadeus Reports page. We've reviewed your feedback and the preview period has come to an end, so we're moving them into their rightful place under the Account, Booking, Event, or Pace & Productivity section. Some of you still like the original versions of the GRC and Productivity reports, so we're keeping them for a little bit longer under the To Be Discontinued section. Don't worry, we will give you plenty of notice before they go. But we encourage you to try transitioning to using the enhanced versions that can be directly exported to PDF or Excel, and contact support to let us know the changes you need to use the new reports in the future. You have to be using R31 or higher to see the rearranged page and the new reports.
