Activity History section
With the Salesforce Lightning experience, the Open Activities and Activity History sections of a record are combined into one Activity timeline. With this change, Open Activities is now called Upcoming & Overdue, and Activity History displays by date. The steps below might vary based on the experience you are using.
The Activity History section displays the completed tasks and past calendar events associated with a record. When a task is marked complete, or an appointment occurs, the activity is moved to this section. Also, when a task is marked complete, reminders for it no longer display.
If your property uses the RFP activities feature, the Activity History section can also include tasks related to RFP notifications sent from MeetingBroker.
You can use the Activity History section to log phone calls and send emails related to that record. To see a list of completed activities with details that you can print, click View All. For additional information, see Salesforce Help.
