Overview: Custom menus and items

If a customer requests a menu or item your property does not sell often, you can create it from the Manage Menus and Items window.

Amadeus recommends you search for the item before you create a new one. This avoids duplicates in the system, which can affect reporting.

Additional information

• A custom item can be added to a menu or sold on its own.
• A custom menu can be as easy as modifying an existing menu or as complex as building a brand new menu for one-time use.

• For menus with items included in the menu price, the price of the menu is automatically calculated by the sum of the revenue breakdown allocations.

• For menus with items priced on consumption only, the price of the menu is zero.
