Menu and item tags
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
This feature is available with version R55 or higher. To determine the release installed in your org, see Installed Packages.
Item tags are available to help categorize and identify menus and items. Tags can be created at the property level to identify menus and items, such as vegetarian, vegan, or containing nuts, or to tag specific kitchen areas like the cold kitchen or pastry kitchen. These tags can also be reported using the Salesforce Custom Report Builder. Item tags help teams responsible for preparing menus and items to categorize and route information more efficiently.
Item tags are available for detailed menus, simple menus, and items. They are not available for text items.
You can use item tags in various areas of Delphi to streamline your daily operations. These include:
-
Manage Menu and items: The Item tags column can be added to display the applicable item tags. To customize your display of the grid, see the Manage Menus and Items page.
-
Menu and Item Search: In the search field, enter the item tag to search for menus and items with the specified tag.
-
Editing Item Details: For the displaying menu or item, use the item tags field to view or select tags from the drop-down menu.
-
Salesforce custom reports: Item tags can be included in custom reports created with the Salesforce Report Builder.
