Clone property menus

The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type. If you are using the Delphi Core product type, click here to access the Delphi Core-specific online help.

You can clone a menu to create one or more copies of the menu. Cloning saves time when multiple menus share much of the same information.

To clone a property menu

  1. Do one of the following to open the menu:

    • In the Items/Menus/Text section of the Property page, click the menu name.

    • Navigate to Items, select the appropriate view, and then click the menu name.

  2. Click Clone Menu/Item at the top of the page. The Clone Menu page displays.
  3. Modify the details as needed.

    • Enter the New Menu Name and update the Unit Price, if applicable.
    • Select whether you want to clone the items. This does not create new items in Setup, it only attaches the selected items to the new menu.
    • If you are replacing old menus, you can select the Deactivate checkbox to automatically change the original menu to inactive.
    • Select which items and choice groups you want to clone, and adjust the Unit Price if necessary.
    • Make sure your revenue breakdown adds up to the menu's Unit Price field at the top of the page. If you need additional revenue classifications, you can add those after you clone.
  4. Click Clone. The new menu displays. You can then make necessary adjustments including adding different items.

Corporate detailed menus can be cloned, however the menu items and choice groups need to be re-added.
