Enter pickup
The content of this page is specific to the Delphi product type only. If you are using the Delphi Core product type and want to learn more about the Delphi product type, contact your sales representative.
As of version R51, two user experiences are available for entering pickup. The details on this page refer to the classic enter pickup experience. For more information on the new experience, see New Enter Pickup experience.
You can use the Enter Pickup tab to enter picked up rooms and rates for bookings or volume contracts. For group bookings, you can also mark a room block Pickup Complete. This indicates that no additional guestrooms are going to be consumed on the room block. After all room blocks on a booking are marked Pickup Complete, the Pickup Complete checkbox on the Booking page is automatically selected. When a booking is marked pickup complete, reports use actual guestroom revenue rather than blocked revenue.
You can also enter pickup for a group room block using the Modify Room Block window.
If your property is integrated with a property management system, you might not need to enter pickup or mark a room block pickup complete. For more information, contact your administrator.
Group pickup
As guestrooms are consumed for a booking, you can use the Group Pickup section to enter the pickup and rate for each day. The pickup is recorded for the appropriate room block and is included in the booking's actual guestroom revenue. After you finish entering pickup for the entire group, you can mark the room block Pickup Complete from the Enter Pickup page.
To enter pickup for a group booking
- Click Enter Pickup.
- Click Group Pickup.

Select the appropriate Property and Start Date for the bookings to update.
If multiple bookings display, you can click Minimize () next to the bookings you want to hide.

For each room type and day, enter the number of picked up rooms and the pickup rate.
To enter pickup for a guestroom type not added to the room block, click the grid below the room block name and click Add Roomtype. By default, room types display in the order defined in Setup. To display the room types alphabetically, click Sort () next to the Select Room Type list.

When you finish entering pickup for the room block, click the Pickup Complete column and select the checkbox that displays. To make adjustments to a room block after pickup is marked complete, clear the checkbox, update the numbers, and select the checkbox again. After all room blocks on a booking are marked Pickup Complete, the Pickup Complete checkbox on the Booking page is automatically selected.

Click Save.
Red triangles indicate unsaved changes. These visual indicators disappear after you click Save.
Volume contract pickup
As guestrooms are consumed at a negotiated rate, you can use the Volume Contract Pickup section to enter the pickup and rate for each day. The pickup is recorded for the appropriate volume contract period and is included in the volume contract's actual rooms, rate, and guestroom revenue.
To enter pickup for a volume contract
- Click Enter Pickup.
- Click Volume Contract Pickup.

Select the appropriate Owner, Property, and Date.
If multiple volume contracts display, you can click Minimize () next to the contracts you want to hide.

Enter the number of picked up rooms and the pickup rate for each day of the contract as needed.
To enter pickup for a guestroom type, click the grid below the contract name and click Add RoomType. By default, room types display in the order defined in Setup. To display the room types alphabetically, click Sort () next to the Select Room Type list.

Click Save.
