Create an event

Any booking can include multiple events, and each event might require different diagrams. You can use the Events page to create booking events. To open this page, in the navigation menu (Icon of a hamburger menu), click Bookings and select a booking.

This topic is for properties not integrated with Delphi. With the integration, events are created and managed in Delphi, and those records display as read-only in Delphi Diagramming.

To create an event

  1. Click Create Event. The Create Event page displays.
  2. Enter the Event Name.
  3. Enter the following information, if applicable.

    • Start Date and End Date

    • Start Time and End Time

    • Number of Attendees

    • Status

    • Setup Style

  4. Select the Meeting Space.

    You can filter the list of Meeting Spaces by name, or by selecting the Filter by Attendees checkbox. With this checkbox selected, meeting spaces display only when the number of attendees is more than 50% of the meeting space's capacity. This is to maximize potential revenue and prevent underselling.

    By default, all meeting spaces that meet the selected setup style and attendees criteria display. Meeting space availability is not considered when displaying results. If applicable, check the Delphi function diary for availability.

  5. Click Create Event.
