Repair partially moved bookings
A booking move might not be fully executed as intended. The most common reason is a user navigating away from the Booking page while the move is still processing. This can result in a partially moved booking. For example, the booking might show the new arrival and departure dates, while the room blocks and associated events might still display the original dates. Users can manually repair the partially moved booking, in two ways, both of which require version R49 and higher.
Move Booking page self-repair options
If a previous booking move was not executed as expected, the next time the user clicks the Move Booking button a new page displays. This page displays the details of the previous attempt including how many of the events, room blocks, and bookings were moved as intended. The user can then decide to resume the move or revert the entire booking back to the original dates.
Manual repair mode
The Bypass Move Rules Until field, on the Booking page, can be used to manually repair a booking. Administrators use this field to set a time, up to two hours in the future, when the rules regarding booking moves are not enforced. Users can then finish moving the booking manually, as needed. Follow these steps to add this field to your Booking page layout.
