Property Logo Image This is the logo that appears in the upper-left corner of your Delphi Diagramming pages and in your PDF and printed pages. Manage 3D view textures Textures are images that are used to simulate your wall and floor coverings, ceiling style, and outdoor views in 3D. We provide you with a selection of standard images to start with, or you can upload images of your real carpet and wallpaper.
Click Configure 3D textures to manage the image files and set defaults for all of your rooms. If the decor is not the same throughout your space, you can apply specific textures to each room in the Capacity Editor.
Transitioning to new 3D?If your property customized wall, floor, ceiling or outdoor view textures prior to July 2023, these configurations will not automatically apply to new 3D. You are able to interact with your existing 3D settings for a limited time, giving you the ability to review and take note of your current customization. Use the information you capture to update your property to the new 3D experience.
- Select the texture you plan to review — Wall, Floor, Ceiling, or Outdoors.
- Click Preview to see the room set with your current customization.
- You may then continue to customize by clicking on the Preview New button and following the steps outlined below.
If your property has rooms with different floor, wall, ceiling or outdoor view settings, you will need to update each room individually via the Capacity Editor.
First, select the type of texture you want to work with—Wall, Floor, Ceiling, or Outdoors.
Then you can select one of the displayed images to be the default for all or your space or click Upload to use a custom file. The file must be a JPG, GIF, or PNG smaller than 50 MB.
3D texture file tipsIf you want to upload custom files for use with 3D textures, there are a few good things to know. The image repeats in tiles when viewing the room so it can be a little tricky to get it right.
- The smaller your file is in kilobytes, the faster it will upload and render. However, don’t sacrifice image quality. A file that’s 200 to 500 KB is probably perfect.
- Typical dimensions for texture files are 512 pixels by 512 pixels.
- Carpet and wallpaper manufacturers typically have 3D textures for their offerings. The installer may not know this but the manufacturer should be willing to provide those to you for free.
After you make a change, you can click the appropriate Preview based on the 3D experience you are using, and we'll show you an example of how your selected texture looks in a test room. (Make sure you allow pop-ups in your browser.) If you want to see a preview in your own space, work in the Capacity Editor.
When you're done, click Save All.
If you want to delete a custom file that you uploaded, select the image and click the X. If the deleted file was set as the default and you don't select and save a new default file, it will reset to our original default texture.
